I just received a message today from someone ... here at the group. The sister had just gone through a mastectomy and might need someone to talk to! I will gladly call her .. and talk to her as survivor who has gone through it. dezengo (at) gmail.com You each are in my prayers .. and although I have been out trying to win federal funding with our new PREVENTION not Treatment Intitiative over at www.change.org - all my sisters who go through this unnecessary heartache & loss. We are here for you! Prayers for all our victims, survivors and their family. http://www.change.org/ideas/view/global_health_care_inititiatives_funding_for_prevention_versustreatment_of_diseases If you are interested in how to stop this vicious cycle .. take a read : VOTE : Pass it on. Right now we are no. 9 in the nation, but we need 315 votes just to make it to the next round. Love & Light Soul Family, deZengo

This is the first time I have atempted reaching out out for advise about something like this and I'm not sure where to start. My wife had a double mastectomy 12/18/09. Her pathology tests came back clean no more signs of cancer. She doesn't need chemo or radiation any more which we are very thankful for that. I have been working from home almost everyday since then helping her get through this long hard recovery. At times she acts like she doesn't want me around her and I am giving her space but until she can drive a car and do for her self she is going to need someone to help her. Her friends have come over to spend time with her, bring food and she spent the night at one of their homes last week. My QUESTION is: Is there other husbands out there that I can talk to and ask them their advice ? Thanks, John |
